You define width and depth, for example 3 by 9. New placements fill the first open slot in reading order (top to bottom, left to right) inside the sponsor subtree, or per your custom fill rule. The engine renders each distributor a live matrix map: filled slots, spillover from above, and their own open positions.
Spillover with an honest audit trail
Spillover occurs when a sponsor subtree fills and new recruits cascade to open slots below. Because spillover is a recruiting pitch in matrix plans, the software shows every placement event with the rule that caused it. Support stops answering "why is he not in my matrix" because the answer is one click.
Level payouts bounded by matrix depth
Commissions pay per level within matrix depth, usually with the same rate table approach as unilevel. Ranks can extend payouts beyond matrix depth as infinity style bonuses, or unlock higher rates inside the matrix; both are configuration, tested with the same scenario suite.
