Unilevel MLM software
Unilevel MLM software: level payouts, ranks and matching bonuses
Unilevel is the most durable structure in network marketing, and the easiest to get subtly wrong. We build unilevel engines where every level rate, rank unlock, matching percentage and infinity override is your configuration, verified against hundreds of test scenarios.
Typical unilevel build: 3 to 4 months, the fastest plan family to launch.

How it works
How the unilevel plan works in our software
Unlimited width, placement under the sponsor
Every new distributor places directly under their sponsor, with no width limit. Depth is what matters: payouts are level based, computed on the upline chain above each order. The engine materializes that chain once per period so level rates apply consistently no matter how deep the tree grows.
Level payouts with rank unlock depth
You define a rate per level, for example 5, 3, 2, 1, 1, 1 percent for levels one through six. Ranks unlock depth: a distributor who qualifies as Director might earn six levels while a Founder earns eight. The engine computes both the raw level payout and the rank adjusted payout, so corporate can see exactly what rank design costs.
Matching bonuses and infinity overrides
Matching bonuses pay a percentage of what personally sponsored distributors earn, and optionally generations deep. Infinity overrides pay a fraction of all volume below the deepest paid level until the next qualified distributor of the same or higher rank blocks it. Both features ride on the same volume attribution, computed in the same pass, so totals always reconcile.

| Width | Unlimited; every recruit places under their sponsor |
|---|---|
| Paid levels | Typically 5 to 10, each with its own percentage |
| Rank unlock | Each rank qualifies for deeper payout levels |
| Matching bonus | For example 20% to 40% on personally sponsored earnings |
| Generations | Matching can extend 2 to 3 generations of leaders |
| Infinity override | Optional; blocked by equal or higher rank |
| Active status | Personal volume minimum, commonly 50 to 100 BV monthly |
| Refunds | Clawback against the upline level payouts in the next run |
What we build
What we build into unilevel MLM software
- Level rate table with per rank unlock depth and effective dating for plan changes.
- Matching bonus engine supporting generations and per rank matching percentages.
- Infinity override logic with rank blocking, computed on the same attribution pass.
- Rank progress in the back office: current qualification status against each requirement.
- Downline reporting with level by level volume for any subtree the distributor can view.
- Customer volume attribution: non distributor customers pay into their referring distributor levels.
- Autoship driven activity tracking with grace periods and reactivation rules.
- Plan simulator for corporate: change a rate, project payouts across last month real data.
Every build ships with locked, reproducible commission runs and statements that show the math behind every payout. See the full delivery scope on the development page.
Edge cases
The details that break generic platforms
These are the rules we write tests for before your launch, because they are the ones support tickets are made of.
| Scenario | How we handle it |
|---|---|
| Distributor skipped a rank | Level rates apply per the highest rank held during the period, with mid-period promotions effective from the qualification date. |
| Infinity override collision | The nearest qualified override above the order earns it; the engine logs which rank blocked which upline. |
| Return in a prior period | Clawback reduces each affected upline level line by its rate, with the original line referenced. |
| Inactive distributor in the chain | Compression per your rules: roll up or skip, applied consistently in ledger and back office views. |
| Deep tree performance | Level computation uses materialized paths, so a 200,000 distributor tree still closes the run in minutes. |
| Plan change mid year | Effective dated rate tables keep historical statements unchanged while future runs use new rates. |
Fit
When a unilevel plan fits your company
Reorder driven products
Supplements, skincare and subscription boxes generate steady personal volume, which is exactly what unilevel rewards. Companies with a large share of non recruiting customers also fit: customer volume pays into the tree cleanly.
Leadership development cultures
Matching bonuses pay distributors for building leaders, not for stacking recruits. If your story is "develop five people who each develop five", unilevel expresses that directly.
Fastest path to launch
Unilevel is the simplest structure to specify and test, which makes it the fastest custom build and the easiest to migrate later. Many companies launch unilevel and layer hybrid features as the field matures.
Compare structures in the plan explorer, or read the buyer checklist before deciding.

Frequently asked questions
How many levels can unilevel software pay?
Any number; most plans use 5 to 10 paid levels with rank unlock depth beyond that. The engine materializes upline chains, so computation cost does not grow problematically with tree depth.
Does the software support compression?
Yes. When an inactive or terminated distributor sits in a paying chain, volume either rolls up or skips them per your rule, and statements show the compressed chain that was paid.
Can customers, not just distributors, generate volume?
Yes. Customer orders attribute to the referring distributor and pay into levels like any other order, with customer volume reported separately for compliance reviews.
What does unilevel MLM software cost?
Unilevel builds typically start at 12,000 dollars. With a mobile app and Shopify integration most projects land between 18,000 and 40,000 dollars.
